Bay Hill in Orlando FL is a luxury home community located southwest of downtown Orlando. Bay Hill includes one of the more famous golf clubs and courses in all of Florida and hosts a famous tournament yearly. More on the Bay Hill Golf Club shortly.

Bay Hill is located in Dr. Phillips which is one of the nicer and more established portions of Orlando. Universal Studios, Restaurant Row and much more are located just minutes away from Bay Hill. Apopka Vineland Road one of the main roads locally is located immediately outside of Bay Hill making your trip to the local fitness center or a grocery run less than a 5-minute drive.

Other local attractions would have to include Lake Tibet which provides the western border for Bay Hill. Lake Tibet is the largest lake and part of the famous Butler Chain of lakes which provides shorelines to other local famous communities such as Isleworth to the north and Keenes Pointe along the opposite shore of Bay Hill in Orlando.

Bay Hill Golf Club

Most golfers and all professional or semi-professional golfers immediately recognize the name of Isleworth, the Golden Bear Club and the Bay Hill Golf Club. Playing at any of these courses places your name on a very prestigious list to be envied by most. Saying you have played at all three is even more special.

The course was designed in 1961 by Dick Wilson. The course was built by Bob Simmons who also later designed and built an additional 9 holes after the passing of Dick Wilson. The course at the Bay Hill Golf Club is universally recognized as Dick Wilsons finest work. It is beautiful, very challenging and functional everything an incredible course should be. The Arnold Palmer Invitational is held here each March.

Bay Hill Orlando Community

Bay Hill is a non-gated community although there are several gated communities inside of and adjacent to Bay Hill. If you exclude the homes that were built before the course was designed then the first holes built here were in 1965. Building does continue to date but most of it is the modernization of existing homes. As you can imagine this is a beautiful place to drive through and many people are looking to purchase existing homes they can personalize or bring up to date. Any homes on the water or the course itself are being watched for availability.

Bay Hill Property Management

Bay Hill in Orlando will normally have 8 to 10 homes lease each year. Those homes will cost from $2,200 to $6,000 per month and typically not set on the market very long. There is no short-term leasing allowed in this community so your neighbor will be your neighbor for a while.
