Belmere Village is a gated community with a whole lot going for it. It is basically so far north in Windermere that across the street is the best part of Ocoee Florida. When in downtown Windermere I often come by this area to have work done, eat or do my shopping at the Publix beside Belmere. I love this area and believe it to be one of the best choices other than lakefront homes in Windermere.

The community itself was built between 2001 and 2006. Many of the home owners have moved on while keeping their house as an investment and leasing it. We have also leased homes out in Whitney Isle next door and found the homes here to be in good shape but the highlights are the amenities, location and actually the people. Maybe it is the gated community but people seem to be more friendly here. There is very little unwanted traffic and walking to the amenities center takes minutes.
